Austin's Growing Appeal

The Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is preparing for what could be its biggest event to date. Following a massive turnout of over 400,000 people last year, co-founder Bobby Epstein has announced that the track is "on pace for a record year" for the upcoming United States Grand Prix in October.

To accommodate the surge in demand, COTA has worked with the highway department to improve road access from downtown Austin, a move Epstein estimates could allow an additional 15,000 to 30,000 fans per day.

Expanding the Fan Experience

In an effort to make the event more accessible, COTA is introducing a "Grand PrixView" day on Thursday. Starting at $20, this addition allows fans to experience:

• F1 Academy action on the track.
• Pit lane walks.
• Early access to the fan zone.

Despite ongoing debates regarding the sport's technical regulations, Epstein remains optimistic, noting that the inherent interest in the event itself remains massive regardless of the competitive rules.
