BBC Sport launches Championship season-so-far quiz ahead of EFL return on 9 October
BBC Sport has rolled out a new quiz inviting supporters to test how much they really remember about the Championship campaign so far, as the division prepares to resume following the international break.

The timing is no accident. The extended international break is now more than halfway through, and EFL football is back on 9 October. With the pause in domestic action giving fans a chance to reflect, the quiz asks whether followers have kept track of a season that has already served up plenty of twists.
All but two teams have now completed eight of their 46 fixtures, meaning the early shape of the table is beginning to form even as the marathon campaign remains in its opening stages. The broadcaster is betting that supporters fancy themselves as Championship aficionados — and the quiz is designed to find out.
“Think you're a Championship aficionado? Let's find out,” BBC Sport wrote, pointing readers towards its dedicated Football Quizzes and Sports Quizzes pages and encouraging them to sign up for notifications to get the latest quizzes sent straight to their device.
The quiz touches on the sides filling the division's long list of hopefuls, from established names such as West Bromwich Albion, Norwich City, Sheffield United, Burnley, Middlesbrough, Blackburn Rovers, Watford, Stoke City, Queens Park Rangers, Preston North End, Bristol City, Millwall, Swansea City, Cardiff City, Derby County, Portsmouth, Southampton, Wrexham, Birmingham City, Charlton Athletic and Bolton Wanderers to the rest of the 24-team league.
For fans hungry for more, BBC Sport points to a backlog of brain-teasers already live on its platforms — a welcome distraction during the lull before the whistle blows again on 9 October.
