Gabriel Jesus scores with every shot on target for Barcelona after Getafe strike

Perfect conversion continues for new Barcelona forward

Gabriel Jesus underlined his clinical edge in front of goal as Barcelona maintained their flawless start to the campaign with a comfortable 3-0 La Liga win over Getafe at the Spotify Camp Nou.

With Raphinha absent, the Brazilian was handed a starting berth for the clash, his first start in Barcelona’s famed red and blue stripes. The former Arsenal man responded with a fine goal, cutting onto his right foot before directing a clever finish inside the near post.

The strike capped a remarkable run of efficiency for the summer signing. According to Opta:

‘Gabriel Jesus has scored three goals in five matches with FC Barcelona across all competitions, netting with each of his three shots on target.’

‘He is the LaLiga player who has scored the most goals with 100% of his shots on target this season.’

The goal on Saturday was the latest occasion for Jesus to find the net, keeping Barcelona on course in their perfect opening to the season after the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of a 3-0 result against Getafe.
