The Athletic's Prime Tire launches no-dumb-questions zone for Formula 1 fans
The Athletic's Prime Tire F1 newsletter wants your questions — no matter how basic, deep or even embarrassingly specific they may be.
In a new reader callout, the newsletter has positioned itself as the "no-dumb-questions zone of Formula 1," inviting fans to send in whatever they've been too afraid to ask their friends about the sport.

"We've been watching this sport for years and still get confused from time to time. So consider this the no-dumb-questions zone of Formula 1," the newsletter said in its call for submissions. "Basic, deep or embarrassingly specific — it's all fair game."
Whether you're confused about a penalty, unclear on the ins and outs of team orders, or have never quite understood what a bargeboard actually is, the team wants to hear from you. Submissions will be answered regularly in the Prime Tire newsletter.
Readers interested in taking part can submit through The Athletic's Reader Submission Terms. Those not yet subscribed can sign up to receive Prime Tire free twice a week during the racing season, and can catch up on past editions.
