West Indies' Justin Greaves ruled out of second ODI vs India with calf injury
West Indies maiden centurion Greaves sidelined for second ODI
Justin Greaves has been ruled out of the second game of the ODI series against India after suffering a calf injury, dealing a blow to the West Indies' middle order just days after his breakout performance.

Greaves, who scored a 108-ball 101 in the opening ODI in Thiruvananthapuram to register his maiden ODI ton, did not take the field during the second innings after picking up the injury during his knock. His absence removes a key contributor from a West Indies batting lineup that posted a competitive total in the series opener.
West Indies finished with 295 in the opening game, with John Campbell and Amir Jangoo complementing Greaves' three-figure score with half-centuries. India, however, chased it down in 41.4 overs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series, with Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scoring centuries.
The second ODI will be played in Guwahati on September 30, while the third game will be held in Chandigarh on October 3. The ODI leg will be followed by a five-match T20I series running from October 6 to 17.
