Kelce brothers' Garage Beer valued at $200 million after Durational Capital investment
Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has been focused on his performance in the new season while his older brother, Jason Kelce, has been cheering him on. But while the four-time Super Bowl champion has been making headlines on the field, he has quietly built an impressive business empire off it — and one of his flagship ventures has just hit a major milestone.
Garage Beer, the light lager brand co-owned by the Kelce brothers, has received a strategic growth investment from Durational Capital Management, LP ("Durational"). While the size of the investment has not been disclosed, the deal values the company at a whopping over $200 million.
What the investment will be used for
The fresh capital will be deployed to amp up marketing and the sales force, and to strengthen relationships with distributors, retailers and customers as the brand pushes further into the national market.
In a press release, the brothers explained why the brand resonates with them personally: "A lot of our best memories, celebrations and conversations have come with a beer by our side… We invested in Garage Beer because it represents us, our values and what we love about beer. It prides itself on being a quality product made with quality ingredients without taking itself too seriously. We're proud of the community we've built and proud of the magic that has come from some pretty crazy ideas."
They added: "In a world where everyone tries to be the smartest person in the room, we go full send on the dumb ideas that are a blast, and that uncomplicated approach will continue to set us apart in the industry. We're excited to partner with Durational to help support the vision and share Garage Beer with more of the world."
Explosive revenue growth behind the valuation
The nine-figure valuation is backed by staggering numbers. According to reports, Garage Beer generated $60 million to $70 million in revenue last year — more than triple the $20 million it made in 2024.
Garage Beer CEO Andy Sauer reflected on the investment, saying: "Our vision is simple: to make a domestic light beer that resonates with everyone. Over the past year, we have increased our volume over +400%, expanded nationally, and became the fastest growing and one of the most exciting beer brands in the U.S."
He added: "Durational's partnership is a strong endorsement of what we have achieved to date and our ambitions for the future. This investment gives us the resources to accelerate our growth and introduce Garage Beer to even more communities and consumers nationwide."
The brothers remain all-in on the brand
Both Travis and Jason Kelce have remained deeply committed to the venture, using their well-known bond to strengthen the brand. Just days ago, Jason Kelce even featured in an advertisement for the company in which he took a playful dig at AI data centres using clean water for their operations — another example of the brothers' irreverent, unfiltered marketing style that has fuelled the brand's rapid rise.
With Durational's backing and momentum that shows no sign of slowing, Garage Beer looks set to become an even bigger player in the American beer market — further proof that the Kelce brothers are as formidable in business as they are on the gridiron.
