Barcelona keep tabs on frustrated Estevao as Joao Felix eyes return
Barcelona watching frustrated Estevao at Chelsea
Barcelona are closely monitoring Estevao's situation at Chelsea after the Brazilian winger grew impatient with his limited playing time under head coach Xabi Alonso, according to Spanish newspaper Sport.
The 19-year-old, whose full name is Estevao Willian, has found regular first-team football hard to come by at Stamford Bridge, and the La Liga giants are keeping tabs on how the situation develops.
"Barcelona are closely monitoring Estevao's situation at Chelsea as the Brazilian grows impatient with his limited playing time under Xabi Alonso," the Sport report, carried by Sky Sports' Paper Talk, states.
Joao Felix dreams of Barcelona return
Separately, AS reports that Al Nassr forward Joao Felix is keen on a return to European football and "dreams of one day playing for Barcelona." The 26-year-old Portugal international has been plying his trade in Saudi Arabia but is understood to harbour ambitions of a continental comeback.
The BBC's gossip roundup, also citing AS, notes that Felix is interested in a return to Europe but does not name a prospective club — leaving the Barcelona link to the Spanish outlet's reporting.
