However, reports from Fabrizio Romano indicate that Manchester City believe Barcelona will soon join the race to convince the Spanish star to head to the Camp Nou instead.

Although Rodri's priority is reportedly Madrid, Barcelona could offer an enticing package. A central role in Hansi Flick's system, the opportunity to mentor international teammates at a club level, and a competitive financial offer could sway the midfielder's decision.
