'Both trophies will come': BCCI confident of end to Asia Cup trophy standoff with Mohsin Naqvi

The BCCI has broken its silence on the Asia Cup trophies that India refused to accept from Mohsin Naqvi, and the message is one of confidence: 'Both trophies will come.'

India's refusal to take the trophies from Naqvi after the tournament sparked a lingering row, but the board's update suggests it expects the standoff to be resolved and the silverware to eventually be handed over.

Former India captain Kapil Dev, pressed on the trophy snub, neatly dodged the Mohsin Naqvi bullet with a witty one-liner.

Across the border, the row continues to divide opinion. An ex-Pakistan batter called India 'arrogant' as he came to the defence of Mohsin Naqvi following the trophy controversy.
