The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced its 15-member squads for the upcoming Women's Asia Cup and the Asian Games, confirming that all-rounder Fatima Sana will captain the side in both major continental tournaments.

Sana returns to the national leadership role after missing Pakistan's recent T20I series against Sri Lanka due to her participation in The Hundred in the United Kingdom.

Women's Asia Cup Squad & Fixtures

The Women's Asia Cup will take place in Dubai from August 28 to September 13. Pakistan have been placed in Group A alongside arch-rivals India, Thailand, and Hong Kong-China.

Pakistan will kick off their campaign against Thailand on September 1, followed by a blockbuster clash against India on September 5, and conclude the group stage against Hong Kong-China on September 7. The semi-finals are scheduled for September 10 and 11, with the final slated for September 13.

Asian Games Campaign

Following the Asia Cup, the team will head to Aichi, Japan, for the Asian Games cricket competition starting September 17. Pakistan will face Thailand in the quarter-finals, aiming to advance to the semi-finals on September 20 and the medal rounds on September 22.

Pakistan's women's team has a decorated history at the Asian Games, having clinched gold medals in 2010 and 2014, although they narrowly missed out on the podium after finishing fourth in 2022.
