Verstappen ends Singapore drought and reaches 27 winning circuits
Singapore finally joins Verstappen’s list
Max Verstappen has added the Marina Bay Street Circuit to his collection of Formula 1 victories, ending a long wait for success at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Red Bull driver won on his 10th attempt at the venue, having previously recorded four front-row starts and four podiums without taking the win.
Verstappen’s victory, which followed a win in the Singapore Sprint, means he has now won at 27 different circuits. Only Lewis Hamilton has triumphed at more venues, with 31. The Singapore result also ended Verstappen’s run of nine starts at the circuit without a victory—the longest such drought at any current venue on the calendar, according to Formula 1’s report.

Three tracks lead his record
The Red Bull Ring, Mexico City’s Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez and Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit are tied as Verstappen’s most productive venues, with five wins at each. At the Red Bull Ring, his victories came in 2018, 2019, twice in 2021 and again in 2023. In Mexico City, he won in 2017 and 2018 before adding victories in 2021, 2022 and 2023. His five Abu Dhabi wins came consecutively from 2020 through 2024.
Verstappen has four wins apiece at Barcelona, Austin, Suzuka and Imola. Barcelona was the site of his first Formula 1 victory, in his debut race for Red Bull; at 18, he became the sport’s youngest Grand Prix winner, a record the report says still stands. His victories at Suzuka came in four consecutive editions from 2022 to 2025, each from pole position. At Imola, he won the four races held there after the circuit returned to the calendar in 2020, according to the report.
Memorable wins across the calendar
Interlagos, Lusail, Montreal and Monza each feature three Verstappen victories in the figures provided. Among the standout performances was his 2024 win in Brazil: starting 17th, he came through a chaotic, rain-affected race to win by nearly 20 seconds. In Qatar, he won from third on the grid in 2024, while his 2023 victory there came after he secured pole.
At Austin, Verstappen has won four of the last five Grands Prix cited in the report, including a 2023 victory from sixth on the grid despite brake trouble. His 2025 win at the Circuit of The Americas was his 73rd career Grand Prix victory at the time described by the source. The figures underline how widely the four-time world champion has converted success across the calendar, with Singapore now no longer the conspicuous exception.
