Barcelona report PSG to Uefa over 'chainsaw massacre' banner at Parc des Princes
Barcelona lodge Uefa complaint after 'Massacre, Parisian style' tifo
Barcelona have formally reported Paris Saint-Germain to Uefa after the French club's supporters unveiled a Halloween-themed banner depicting a masked figure wielding a bloodied chainsaw through the Catalan side's crest.

The tifo, displayed before PSG's 4-2 Champions League victory at the Parc des Princes on Tuesday night, carried the phrase "Massacre, Parisian style". The masked man was shown cutting through the Barcelona badge with a chainsaw, while fireworks set off by PSG fans sent sparks into the stands.
According to the Press Association, Barcelona have now lodged a complaint with Uefa over the display, while ESPN reported that the Catalan club believe the banner was both "overly aggressive and offensive".
Uefa declined to comment, but its disciplinary body will typically assess reports from the match before deciding on any potential next steps or punishments.
A costly night for Barcelona
The incident came on a damaging night for Barcelona, who suffered their first defeat of the season. The back-to-back European champions prevailed 4-2, with late goals from Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz securing the win after Lamine Yamal had equalised for Hansi Flick's side.
