Tom Banton Blasts England to Series Win Over Sri Lanka at The Oval

England sealed their home limited-overs summer in emphatic fashion, thrashing Sri Lanka at The Oval to secure a decisive series victory.

Tom Banton produced a sensational display with the bat, earning Player of the Match honours as England overpowered the visitors in the series finale. His dynamic innings spearheaded England's commanding performance, ensuring the hosts finished their white-ball campaign on a high note.

Will Jacks was named Player of the Series following a string of consistent and impactful contributions throughout the matches. Captain Harry Brook and white-ball head coach Brendon McCullum reflected positively on the team's depth and attacking intent as they prepare to head into the winter schedule.

Sri Lanka, captained by Kusal Mendis, were unable to contain England's aggressive approach in London, leaving McCullum's squad with plenty of optimism and momentum ahead of upcoming overseas challenges.
