Sai Kishore Hat-Trick Fires Tamil Nadu to Innings Win as Bengal and UP Seal Victories
Sai Kishore spins Tamil Nadu to innings victory
Captain Sai Kishore delivered a match-winning spell of left-arm spin at Chepauk, claiming a hat-trick as part of a six-wicket haul to bowl Tamil Nadu to an innings victory over Uttarakhand in the Ranji Trophy.
His six-fer gave him a match haul of 10 for 74, with fellow left-arm spinner Ajith Ram snapping up the remaining four wickets in the second innings to complete the rout.
Bengal edge Services in a spin battle
In a contest dominated by spin, Bengal had the final say over Services. Pradipta Pramanik (4 for 48) and Shahbaz Ahmed (3 for 44) combined to script an impressive 60-run win for the hosts.
Uttar Pradesh hold off Goa despite Kasvankar's five-for
Yash Kasvankar's second five-wicket haul of the match bowled Uttar Pradesh out for 197, but Goa then succumbed to Kartik Yadav's own five-wicket haul, eventually going down by 68 runs.
A pair of seventies from Aryan Juyal and Suyash Prabhudessai proved bittersweet for Goa, with the latter's effort unable to prevent his side from falling well short in pursuit of a target of 235.
