BARCELONA — La Liga champions Barcelona organized a training-ground friendly between the ranks on Monday after their scheduled matchup with Preston North End was cancelled at the last minute, with the spoils shared in a 1-1 stalemate.

Hansi Flick's squad made the journey to England last week to face Birmingham City, but their second friendly of the trip was cancelled. The Blaugrana therefore organ the internal fixture at their St. George's Park training base.

A host of first-team players featured from the start, with the XIs was complete by academy talents and those pushing for a senior place. Fermín López opened the scoring, before full-back starlet Xavi Espart grabbed the equalizer.
