Barcelona unveil 2026-27 third kit with bold mid-1990s half-and-half design
Barcelona have unveiled their new third kit for the 2026-27 season, bringing back the distinctive away-shirt colours associated with the club’s mid-1990s era.
A retro design with a modern twist
The kit features a striking half-and-half shirt in teal and turquoise tones. A zigzag line separates the two sides, creating a look that recalls one of Barcelona’s most recognisable designs while giving it a contemporary update.
Barcelona’s official description says the design uses “Frost Green” and “Cactus Dust” as its dominant colours. The club says the shirt celebrates “youngsters who grew up as culers before becoming the players who now defend our colours.”
Fermín López and Barça Femení stars feature in launch video
A video shared on Barça’s social media offered a full look at the kit, including the matching shorts and socks. Barcelona midfielder Fermín López appeared alongside Barça Femení players Claudia Pina and Aïcha Cámara in the launch presentation.
The design had already been leaked several months ago, but Wednesday’s unveiling confirmed the final version of Barcelona’s third strip for the 2026-27 campaign. Supporters can now judge whether the retro-inspired colour scheme successfully captures the spirit of the club’s mid-1990s look.
