Napoli forward Alisson Santos was reportedly woken by burglars who entered his home in Giugliano in Campania during the night after Napoli’s 3-3 Serie A draw with Roma on Saturday.

According to reports cited by TMW, Santos was at home with his wife when he discovered the intruders. They reportedly took jewellery, a valuable watch and his car. Police later found the vehicle in nearby Villaricca.

Police review CCTV footage

Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage as they work to identify those responsible. No further details about the break-in were reported.

Santos had watched the match from the stands at the Stadio Maradona while recovering from a hamstring injury. He is expected to be sidelined for several more weeks.
