Anguissa and Alisson Santos return as Napoli name 22-man squad for Venezia

Napoli welcome back two injured players

Napoli have named Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Alisson Santos in their travelling party for Saturday’s Serie A match away to Venezia, easing some of the injury concerns around the squad.

Anguissa is available again after missing Napoli’s previous two matches with an adductor problem. Alisson Santos, who had been sidelined since mid-September with a hamstring injury, has also been included. Giovane is available as well after missing the midweek match against Villarreal because he is not on Napoli’s UEFA squad list.

Chance to respond after Villarreal loss

The Partenopei head to Venezia looking to regain momentum after losing 3-1 away to Villarreal in the Champions League earlier this week. The report says Massimiliano Allegri has suffered four defeats in his first eight matches as Napoli head coach, more than any Napoli manager at the start of a new season in 17 years.

Venezia are bottom of the table and, according to the report, have yet to earn a point after six matches of the 2026-27 Serie A season.
