Bahrain Grand Prix 2026 tickets go on sale for Sepang return
Bahrain brings Formula 1 to Sepang as ticket sales open for 2026 race
The Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) and Sepang International Circuit (SIC) have opened ticket sales for the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026, a one-off event that will return Formula 1 to Malaysian soil for the first time since 2017.
The unique race weekend takes place at Sepang International Circuit from 2–4 October 2026, as the spirit of Bahrain comes to Malaysia. Grandstand and general admission tickets are now on sale to international fans — non-Malaysian citizens — through the Bahrain International Circuit website, bahraingp.com.
General admission starts from USD 219 per person for the three-day event, while grandstand seats begin at USD 350. The iconic Main Grandstand is priced at USD 566 for all three days, with all prices inclusive of tax.
Malaysian citizens holding a MyKad — the national identity card — can access exclusive three-day rates also available at bahraingp.com. General admission for MyKad holders starts at MYR 200, and grandstand seats at MYR 1,291.40. A verification process is in place to ensure the discounted tickets are used by valid holders.
Families are catered for as well: children aged three to six are entitled to a 25% discount, while those under three enter free. Accessible seating is available for spectators with additional needs, and customers can reserve those spaces by calling +973 1745 0000.
Organisers are urging fans to book early, with tickets expected to be in high demand. Details on hospitality packages will follow in the coming days, with updates available at bahraingp.com and sepangcircuit.com.
The ticket launch follows Gulf Air's announcement of direct flights between Bahrain and Kuala Lumpur, commencing 29 September 2026 — just days before the race — giving fans seamless access through the carrier's network. More information is at gulfair.com.
