Barcelona open contract talks with La Masia winger Sama Nomoko

Barcelona move to tie down promising youngster Sama Nomoko

La Liga giants Barcelona are actively working on the terms of a new contract for one of the brightest prospects in their attacking ranks.

The Blaugrana starlet in question is Sama Nomoko, widely considered to be one of the standout young talents on the books of La Masia at present. An 18-year-old winger with bags of pace and quick feet to match, he has long been tipped for a future at the very top level of the game.

Faith unchanged despite serious setback

Nomoko was dealt a considerable setback late last year, after being condemned to a long-term spell on the sidelines with a serious knee injury. But as much has evidently not dented the faith of those in a position of power at the Spotify Camp Nou when it comes to the future of the Spanish youth international at Barcelona.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo: “Barça are working on renewing Sama Nomoko’s contract. With a contract until June 30, 2027, the Catalan club wants to secure the continuity of the 18-year-old winger, who is currently recovering from a serious injury.”

With his current agreement not set to expire until the summer of 2027, the club’s push to extend his stay further underlines just how highly the teenager is regarded within the Barcelona setup as he works his way back to full fitness.
