Bayern Munich legend Uli Hoeness has claimed that Harry Kane is now worth 250 million following Liverpool's record-breaking acquisition of Alexander Isak, asserting that the England captain has significantly outperformed his transfer market value.

Underpaid for Kane, Says Hoeness

Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in August 2023 for a reported fee of 100 million (
87.1 million), and since then, he has transformed into one of the most prolific scorers in European football. Hoeness admitted that while the initial investment was seen as a risk, Kane's performances have made him a bargain in hindsight.

In an interview with Kicker, republished via iMiaSanMia, Hoeness said: "It was a bit of a risk [spending 100m on him in 2023], but he's played incredibly well for us in recent years. If we consider the price-performance ratio, I'd say 150m."

He continued, drawing a sharp comparison with Isak's transfer: "But then you see that Alexander Isak of Liverpool cost 150m. If he's worth 150m, then Harry is worth 250m."

Kane is currently on the brink of breaking Robert Lewandowski's single-season Bundesliga goalscoring record. With 31 goals in 26 matches, he is averaging a goal every 66.7 minutes. Lewandowski scored 41 goals in the 202021 season at a rate of one every 60 minutes, making just 29 appearances.
