Pochettino's free-scoring USA host Mexico in Arizona friendly between North American rivals
North American rivals renew hostilities in Glendale
There is little love lost between these North American sporting rivals, and they meet again in an international friendly at State Farm Stadium in Glendale in the early hours of Sunday (3am BST, 10pm Eastern Time on Saturday), where Mauricio Pochettino's USMNT will measure their progress against Concacaf's leading nation.
The USA are on a hot streak coming out of the World Cup, where they fizzled in the group stage before coming to a shuddering halt against Belgium. Since then, a 4-1 win over Peru and a 4-2 victory against Chile in St Louis have Pochettino's collective in fine fettle, with teenagers Julian Hall and Mathis Albert making an impact.

Rafael Márquez's El Tri venture to Arizona on the back of a pair of 1-1 draws, against Colombia and Peru. Jeff Rueter will be reporting live from Glendale as the old rivals renew acquaintances.
