Formula 1’s 2026 season enters its decisive stretch

The 2026 Formula 1 season is underway, with nine Grands Prix still to come on the published schedule. The run-in begins at the new Madrid Street Circuit for the Spanish Grand Prix on September 13 and concludes with the traditional finale at Yas Marina in Abu Dhabi on December 6.

Remaining 2026 races and session times

Spanish Grand Prix — Madrid, September 11-13

The Madrid weekend opens with practice at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Eastern on Friday, September 11. Final practice is scheduled for 6:30 a.m. Saturday, followed by qualifying at 10 a.m. The Grand Prix starts at 9 a.m. Sunday, with all times listed in Eastern Time.

Azerbaijan Grand Prix — Baku, September 24-26

Baku’s weekend begins with practice at 5:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. ET on Thursday, September 24. Qualifying is set for 9 a.m. Friday, while the race starts at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Singapore Grand Prix — Singapore, October 9-11

Singapore hosts a sprint weekend. Sprint qualifying takes place at 10:30 a.m. ET on Friday, October 9, followed by the sprint at 6 a.m. Saturday. Qualifying is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, ahead of Sunday’s 8 a.m. Grand Prix.

United States Grand Prix — Austin, October 23-25

The Circuit of the Americas will stage the U.S. Grand Prix, with qualifying at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, October 24. The race begins at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Mexico City Grand Prix — Mexico City, October 30-November 1

Practice sessions are scheduled across Friday and Saturday, with qualifying at 7 p.m. ET on October 31. The Grand Prix starts at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 1.

São Paulo Grand Prix — São Paulo, November 6-8

Interlagos hosts the next stop, with qualifying at 1 p.m. ET Saturday and the race at noon Sunday.

Las Vegas Grand Prix — Las Vegas, November 19-22

The Las Vegas weekend features notably early-morning sessions for viewers on the U.S. East Coast. Qualifying is listed for 4 a.m. ET on Saturday, November 21, while the Grand Prix begins at 1 a.m. Sunday.

Qatar Grand Prix — Lusail, November 27-29

Qatar’s qualifying session is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET on Saturday, November 28, with the race following at 11 a.m. Sunday.

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix — Abu Dhabi, December 4-6

The season finale at Yas Marina begins with practice on Friday, December 4. Qualifying is set for 9 a.m. ET Saturday, and the final Grand Prix of the season starts at 8 a.m. Sunday, December 6.

Races already completed

The schedule lists the Australian, Chinese, Japanese, Miami, Canadian, Monaco, Barcelona-Catalunya, Austrian, British, Belgian, Hungarian, Dutch and Italian Grands Prix as concluded.
