Martin Brundle Delivers Verdict on 'Telling' Hamilton Strategy and Norris-Piastri Collision

Brundle's Read on the Weekend

Sky Sports F1 analyst Martin Brundle has delivered his verdict on two of the most talked-about moments of the race weekend: Ferrari's strategy call on Lewis Hamilton's car and the collision between McLaren team-mates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

Brundle described the Hamilton strategy as "telling", a characterisation that feeds directly into wider questions about whether the relationship between the driver and the Ferrari pit wall now needs to be reset.

The second flashpoint came when Norris and Piastri made contact on track — an incident that will inevitably intensify scrutiny of how McLaren manage the battle between their two drivers as the season reaches its decisive phase.

Brundle's reflections on both moments form part of Sky Sports' post-race analysis, with the two incidents likely to shape the tactical approach of both teams at the upcoming rounds.
