Lamine Yamal dismisses Real Madrid referee complaints as Barcelona extend title lead
Yamal refuses to be drawn into Real Madrid controversy
Lamine Yamal has rejected the invitation to comment on Real Madrid’s latest complaints about refereeing, insisting that Barcelona’s only concern is continuing to win.
Real Madrid renewed their criticism after losing to Atletico Madrid in La Liga, but Yamal said he had no interest in becoming involved in the dispute surrounding the club’s complaints.
“I’m not very involved to be honest, I’m not very interested. As long as Barça continue to win there is nothing to talk about, only our game and the victories,” Yamal told Teledeporte.

Barcelona six points clear before first Clasico
Yamal’s comments come as Barcelona enjoy a perfect start to the season. The Catalan side will spend the international break six points ahead of Real Madrid in the title race.
The two rivals are scheduled to meet for the first time this season at Camp Nou on October 25, with Barcelona holding the early advantage in the standings.
Yamal praises Barcelona’s new arrivals
The Barcelona forward also praised the impact of the club’s new signings, saying the additions have quickly reached a high level and contributed to the team’s strong physical condition.
“So much Gordon, who came on very well, Rodri, Adeyemi... They are giving a great level. We have arrived very well physically,” he said.
Yamal added that Barcelona’s understanding has continued to improve as coach Hansi Flick has spent more time with the squad.
“Also the more years the coach has been here, the more we understand each other and the players, then, too,” he said.
