Cristiano Ronaldo scores as Al-Nassr crush Al-Riyadh 4-0
Ronaldo seals another emphatic Al-Nassr win
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his first goal of the 2026-27 Saudi Pro League season as Al-Nassr swept aside Al-Riyadh 4-0 at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium.

Abdulelah Al Amri put the visitors ahead after 18 minutes, powering a header into the far corner from Angelo’s inswinging corner. Al-Nassr doubled their advantage in first-half stoppage time when Angelo followed up to score from close range after Abdullah Al Hamddan missed an opportunity near the six-yard box.
Joao Felix added a third with a composed finish into the bottom-right corner, finding a way through a crowded defence. Kingsley Coman also tested the Al-Riyadh defence, although his effort from distance failed to trouble Milan Borjan.
Ronaldo makes his mark off the bench
Ronaldo entered the match in the 62nd minute for his first appearance of the campaign. The forward needed only 21 minutes to make an impact, taking in a pass from Aiman Yahya before sweeping a left-footed finish into the net in the 83rd minute.
The goal was reported as Ronaldo’s 977th in professional football, keeping him on course in his pursuit of 1,000 career goals. Despite playing only the final 28 minutes, he registered three shots—joint-most among Al-Nassr players—and two efforts on target, while accounting for a team-high 0.67 expected goals.
Perfect start continues
Al-Nassr have opened the league campaign with consecutive victories by 3-0 and 4-0, collecting all six available points. Their latest performance was built on sustained attacking pressure: the visitors created five Opta-defined big chances, compared with none for Al-Riyadh, and recorded 32 touches in the opposition penalty area to their opponents’ seven.
The result gives Al-Nassr the ideal beginning as they look to retain the Saudi Pro League title.
