Fort makes Dortmund his preferred destination

Hector Fort is reportedly holding out for a move to Borussia Dortmund after rejecting approaches from Real Sociedad and Roma. According to Sky Sport Germany, the Barcelona defender has made Dortmund his preferred destination this summer.

Talks have taken place between Barcelona and Dortmund, but the clubs have not yet reached an agreement. Sky Sport Germany reports that the Bundesliga side is seeking a “cost-effective solution with Barcelona” as it explores a deal for the full-back.

Barcelona seeking around €20 million

Fort spent last season on loan at Elche and has attracted interest from several clubs during the summer transfer window. With no apparent place for him in Barcelona’s squad, a permanent departure is now being considered.

Barcelona reportedly hopes to secure a fee of approximately €20 million for the 20-year-old. The club still has more than a week to complete a transfer, leaving time for negotiations with Dortmund to progress.
