Lance Stroll Survives Heavy Crash in Dutch Grand Prix FP2

Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll walked away unhurt after a dramatic crash during the second practice session (FP2) for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. The incident occurred at Turn 3 as Stroll misjudged his braking point, locked his front-left tire, and understeered into the barriers. The crash brought out a red flag and halted the session temporarily.

This incident evoked memories of Stroll's crash during the 2023 Dutch Grand Prix, which left him with a wrist injury and forced him to miss five races. Fortunately, this time, Stroll emerged unscathed. "I'm okay, just a bit shaken up," he reported after the incident. The crash occurred as drivers were pushing hard to set early laps, anticipating rain later in the session.

The session resumed after marshals cleared the debris, but the incident served as a stark reminder of the challenges posed by the narrow and undulating Zandvoort circuit. Stroll's team will now focus on rebuilding his car ahead of Saturday's qualifying session.

Meanwhile, the rest of the grid continued to battle for supremacy, with Lando Norris leading the timesheets in FP2. The race weekend promises more drama as drivers navigate one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar.
