Oliver Glasner Urges Crystal Palace to Retain Marc Guehi Amid Liverpool Interest
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has made it clear that retaining captain Marc Guehi is critical for the club's success this season. Guehi has been linked with a £35 million move to Liverpool, but Glasner emphasized the challenges of finding a suitable replacement. "We have no chance to find the right replacement in one day," Glasner said. "We all agreed that we only sell Marc if we have the right replacement in the building."

Guehi was instrumental in Palace's 3-0 victory over Aston Villa, scoring a spectacular 68th-minute goal. Jean-Philippe Mateta, who converted a penalty, praised Guehi, saying, "Every game he brings something new, and he is a fantastic player. I hope he stays with us." Guehi, a South London native, also expressed his gratitude to the club and fans, acknowledging their support throughout his career.
Palace's unbeaten run now stands at 14 matches across all competitions, a club record. With the added demands of the Conference League, Glasner is keen to keep his squad intact, particularly his captain, whose leadership and performances have been pivotal.
