Hamilton Aims for Strong Second Half of Season After Summer Break
Lewis Hamilton is looking forward to the second half of the 2025 Formula 1 season with renewed focus and enthusiasm after the summer break. The Ferrari driver expressed his eagerness to "get back to enjoying my job" and build momentum with his new team.

Hamilton acknowledged the ups and downs of the first half of the season, including a Sprint victory in China but also challenging weekends. He reflected on a recent comment where he called himself "useless" in the heat of the moment, clarifying that it was a temporary frustration and that he has used the break for personal reset through meditation and spending time with family.
"This is a great restart moment for us," Hamilton stated, emphasizing his intention to "drown out all of the noise" and focus on performance. He expressed confidence in the progress made by Ferrari and his belief that the team will continue to improve in the remaining ten races. Hamilton is particularly looking forward to the upcoming race in Monza, anticipating the support of the Tifosi.

"Everyone is working so hard back at the factory," Hamilton commented on the team's efforts. "As an athlete, I have very high standards for myself, and I know the team does too. It’s difficult with all the work that we put in, when we don’t get the results that we’ve worked for and probably deserve. But that’s part of the process, and I believe we will get there. We are making progress, so we just have to keep going."
Hamilton believes the summer break came at the ideal time for him to reset and is confident that with the team's support, they can achieve better results in the second half of the season by staying positive and keeping their heads up.
