Pau Víctor Explains Barcelona Exit: Seeking Playing Time and Hansi Flick's Continued Support

Pau Víctor Departs Barcelona for SC Braga, Prioritizing Playing Time and Growth

Former Barcelona forward Pau Víctor has openly discussed the motivations behind his recent departure from the Catalan giants, confirming that his move to SC Braga in Portugal was driven by a strong desire for more consistent playing time and personal development.

Víctor, 23, spent a year with Barcelona before making the switch, and in a recent interview, he emphasized the importance of regular action for his career trajectory. "The year was incredible for everyone, but I needed to play and grow, and after talking with the coach, the best thing was to leave," Víctor stated, explaining the rationale behind his decision.

Despite his departure, Víctor shared glowing remarks about his relationship with former Barcelona coach Hansi Flick. He described Flick as a highly attentive figure who fostered a supportive environment for his players. "[Flick was] attentive and like a father to the players," Víctor recounted, highlighting the positive bond they shared.
