Asia Cup 2025: Matches Rescheduled Due to Extreme Heat; India to Face Pakistan on September 14

Asia Cup 2025 Schedule Adjusted Amidst UAE's Extreme Heat

The highly anticipated Asia Cup 2025, a T20 format tournament, has announced revised match timings for 18 of its 19 fixtures due to the prevailing extreme heat conditions in the United Arab Emirates. The tournament, scheduled to run from September 9 to 28 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, will now see most matches commence half an hour later than originally planned.

New start times will be 6:30 PM local time (8 PM IST) for the majority of the games. The only exception is a day game between the UAE and Oman on September 15, which will begin at 4:00 PM local time in Abu Dhabi.

A major highlight of the tournament will be the clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan, set to take place in Dubai on September 14. Despite the absence of bilateral series between the two cricketing giants, their participation in multi-nation events like the Asia Cup continues to draw significant global attention.
