Oscar Piastri celebrates pole position at the Dutch Grand Prix

Piastri, who had led all practice sessions, described his pole-winning lap as "the definition of peaking at the right time." The Australian driver expressed his elation at the result, stating, "I felt pretty good all weekend, and even though there were a couple of corners where I hadn't been perfect, it all came together when it mattered." Norris, who had also been strong throughout the weekend, was left ruing a slight deficit in the final sector of his last lap.

The session was not without drama, as several drivers faced challenges, including crashes and missed opportunities to advance. Max Verstappen rounded out the top three, while others like Isack Hadjar and Liam Lawson also impressed with their performances.
